Vehicles younger than 36 months, and with under 60,000 miles, are covered by their comprehensive manufacturer warranty. Where remaining, the balance of this warranty is passed to the new owner.

Audis between 3 and 5 years old at the time of purchase (7 years for R8) are covered by our own 12 month warranty, designed to give peace of mind should a mechanical failure occur. Its terms are clear and concise:

INCLUSIVE 12 MONTH WARRANTY

First 3 months

Covers failure of all manufacturer-installed mechanical and electrical components, including parts and labour. No limits, no excess, no hidden charges, no customer contributions. You are protected up to the value of the vehicle. This is assuming the car is returned to Fontain Motors for repair.

Where the car is repaired by a third party, work is authorised based on manufacturer labour times to a maximum of Fontain Motors’ prevailing hourly rate.

We reserve the right to either supply replacement parts or request the vehicle is returned to base for repair. Recovery costs will be covered in these instances.

3 - 6 Months

Covers mechanical failures to engine, transmission, and drivetrain (including the quattro 4 wheel drive system) for parts and labour. No limits, no excess, no hidden charges, no customer contributions. You are protected up to the value of the vehicle. This is assuming the car is returned to Fontain Motors for repair.

Where the car is repaired by a third party, work is authorised based on manufacturer labour times to a maximum of Fontain Motors’ prevailing hourly rate. We reserve the right to either supply replacement parts or request the vehicle is returned to base for repair. Recovery costs will be covered in these instances.

6 - 12 Months

Covers mechanical failures to engine, transmission, and drivetrain (including the quattro 4 wheel drive system) for labour only.

Any parts required will be charged to the customer. This is assuming the Audi is returned to Fontain Motors for repair.

Where the Audi is repaired by a third party repairer, manufacturer labour times are applied to a maximum of Fontain Motors’ prevailing hourly rate.

We reserve the right to request the vehicle is returned to base for repair. Recovery costs will be covered in these instances.

PREMIUM 12 MONTH WARRANTY

Full 12 Months

Covers failure of all manufacturer-installed components, including parts and labour for the full 12 months. No limits, no excess, no hidden charges, no customer contributions. You are protected up to the value of the vehicle. This is assuming the car is returned to Fontain Motors for repair.

Where the car is repaired by a third party, work is authorised based on manufacturer labour times to a maximum of Fontain Motors’ prevailing hourly rate.

Premium warranty can be purchased before vehicle collection for any car up to 5 years old. Premium warranty can also be purchased where the vehicle is up to 7 years old and also below 30k miles (at the time of purchase).

Business operation under National Lockdown

Fontain Motors will remain open during National Lockdown with careful safety measures in place. We’ve assembled a short list of the most common questions we’re being asked.

 

Q: Can you service or repair my car?

A: Yes we can; we’re proud to have been safely running our aftersales department through (almost!) all of 2020 and will continue to do so in 2021. We’ve contactless drop-offs and collections, and careful hygiene measures in place.

 

Q: Can I buy a car?

A: Yes you can. You can buy online for a “click and collect” purchase or use our delivery service.

 

Q: Can I book a viewing? Can I book a test drive? Can I browse?

A: Unfortunately not, our showroom must remain closed whilst under National Lockdown restrictions. We cannot offer a test drive or viewing before the purchase is complete. You can only visit us to collect a car you have already purchased. The same rules apply to all car dealerships.

 

Q: How can I see the car before I decide?

A: Every car on our website has dozens of photographs, a walkaround video, a detailed specification list, and details of its service history. On top of this we can provide a personalised video to show you anything else you’d like to see or even arrange a video call to talk and show you around the car, live.

 

Q: Can I still part exchange my car? Can I still finance a purchase?

A: Yes you can, get in touch if you’d like to discuss.

We’re completely independent and despite a small staff boast very nearly a century of experience between us. Q: Can you give me a loan car whilst mine is with you?

A: Yes we can. Our fleet of loan cars is running as normal with extra hygiene measures in place.
