In partnership with our friends (the experts in all things BMW) at Birds Garage; this is really quite a special little car! Packing all of Birds upgrades to fully explore the untapped potential of the M140i. This car rides, handles, and grips like a real M car, but in a bodystyle that BMW never offered themselves, and at a far more modest price tag.

The basic car for this project was a well maintained and very high specification manual M140i with a generous list of factory extras as above. It is now to full Birds B1 specification, serviced up to date, and wearing Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres. Mechanically the car is exceptionally well maintained and regularly serviced, and a road test shows no issues of any sort. The interior is in lovely condition and everything works. The exterior presents just as well as you'd hope with a deep shine from the distinctive Melbourne red metallic paint.

The cost to replicate this complete conversion today would be almost £10,000, representing a decent saving (in time and money) should you choose to source then convert a comparable car yourself. Inclusive of a Birds 6 month warranty.

Audis between 3 and 5 years old at the time of purchase (7 years for R8) are covered by our own 12 month warranty, designed to give peace of mind should a mechanical failure occur. Its terms are clear and concise:

Inclusive 12 month warranty

Covers failure of all manufacturer-installed mechanical and electrical components, including parts and labour. No limits, no excess, no hidden charges, no customer contributions. You are protected up to the value of the vehicle. This is assuming the car is returned to Fontain Motors for repair.

Where the car is repaired by a third party, work is authorised based on manufacturer labour times to a maximum of Fontain Motors’ prevailing hourly rate.

We reserve the right to either supply replacement parts or request the vehicle is returned to base for repair. Recovery costs will be covered in these instances.

Covers mechanical failures to engine, transmission, and drivetrain (including the quattro 4 wheel drive system) for parts and labour. No limits, no excess, no hidden charges, no customer contributions. You are protected up to the value of the vehicle. This is assuming the car is returned to Fontain Motors for repair.
